Coffee Addiction

Coffee addiction is a scourge that is affecting so many people across the world. Whilst it could be mooted that an addiction to coffee is not as bad as an addiction to many other narcotic substances or to alcohol it could also be argues that coffee addiction is actually worse. Why? Because it has an adverse affect on so many people’s lives without them even noticing it.

Today’s society calls little sleep, quick reactions to situations and the ability to meet ever tightening deadlines. A cup of coffee in the morning, one after that to ease the nerves, one over lunch, one cup mid-afternoon to ease you from the post-lunchtime drowsiness and then one towards the latter part of the day to ensure you make it to the end. Before you know it you’ve had five cups of coffee during the day and you don’t think you’re suffering from

A coffee addiction self perpetuates because the more you have, the less effect it will provide. Five cups turns to 8 turns to 10. Then they start getting stronger. Watch out.

A good way to solve the problem is to say to yourself: am I addicted to coffee? And then try to survive a day or two without the magic drink.
